Medical Cannabis Coach

Joelle Rabion, MS/MCST, HHC, AADP, holds a Masters in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy (2021). Since February, 2020 she has been consulting with medical cannabis patients, as a cannabis coach, at the District of Columbia’s premiere medical cannabis dispensary, Takoma Wellness Center, helping patients find best approaches to cannabis medicine based on their medical / health conditions/ concerns.

As a Cannabis Coach with the George Washington Center for Integrative Medicine, Joelle meets with patients in person and via telemedicine, creating individualized plans based on their medical issues and their unique endocannabinoid system, with the objective of finding relief for their symptoms. Each patient can enjoy a comprehensive and collaborative approach with fellow integrative health professionals at GWCIM.  Cannabis coaching is open everyone, especially with those experiencing nausea, appetite loss, chronic pain, insomnia, fibromyalgia/arthritis, gastrointestinal issues, anxiety, neuropathy, seizures, depression, among others medical issues.

Prior to living in the D.C. region, Joelle worked in Chicago as a holistic health coach and member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Her clients included a dietary-focused healthy meal delivery business, pilot programs on weight loss and post-natal nutrition for Urgent Care in the Cloud and Corporate Wellness programs. In 2015, she formulated and produced a line of all-natural CBD wellness ‘shots’ from concept to marketplace using fast-acting nano-CBD. She has consulted with corporate clients on formulations for unique, all-natural supplements for brain health and caffeinated energy supplements using non-traditional delivery systems. Joelle loves to cook, bike and is an avid yogi.
