Join us for an 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) workshop taught online by Cynthia Powell, MA, CHWC, IWLC, Qualified MBSR Teacher, through the GW Center For Integrative Medicine.
Participants will meet for 2.5 hours once a week with one half-day retreat.
Sessions will include:
- Guided activities including seated meditation, body scan, gentle movement, and other mindful practices
- Exercises to improve awareness in everyday life
- Interactive learning with group dialogue and mindful communication
- Daily at-home assignments, reading materials, and guided audio meditations
When: Online sessions will be offered Thursday evenings via Zoom.
Orientation session: 3/16/23 at 6:00pm (ET)
Classes will be held 3/23/23 to 5/11/23 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm (ET)
Retreat will be held on 4/22/23 from 9:00am – 3:00pm (ET)
