The Center for Integrative Medicine is an out-of-network provider and does not participate in insurance plans, networks, or Medicare. Our services are offered on a fee-for-service basis, as most health insurance plans currently do not cover the comprehensive range of treatments we provide.
Insurance information
We accept all FSA/HSA (Flex Spending and Health Saving) accounts for all services including for medically recommended vitamins and supplements when purchased through our designated distributors.
Some insurance and managed care companies provide coverage for selected treatments offered at GWCIM, or offer case management and special waivers to patients with a serious illness or an injury. We encourage you to inquire with your insurance company whether integrative medicine services may be covered as part of your plan, or as a special benefit for your condition, and what is the level of coverage for out-of-network services.
Since GWCIM does not participate with any insurance plans, its services might be covered only as an out-of-network benefit. If you have determined that your insurance plan will cover some or all of the treatments that you receive at the Center, we will be happy to provide you with the documentation you need to submit a claim for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy
No charge for cancellations made more than two business days prior to the appointment.
Late cancellation (less than TWO business days), or “no show” fee is 100% of the provider’s fee.
All appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled 48 business hours in advance in order to avoid the late cancellation fee. Please note we are closed on Saturdays.
For example: To cancel or reschedule a Monday appointment, you must notify us no later than Thursday the week before. To cancel or reschedule a Tuesday appointment, you must notify us no later than Friday the week before.
